Sara + Jeremy’s Wedding
Sara and Jeremy are a really sweet couple and their wedding was gorgeous! Their wedding and reception took place on a hilltop on Sara’s grandmother’s property south of Nashville. The scenes surrounding the ceremony were beautiful! Everything was absolutely gorgeous!
How did you guys first meet?
They first met at a friend’s house for a double date with Sara’s cousin and her boyfriend. They were both attending Columbia State University at the time. Jeremy drove her around in his old red Toyota truck, which he still has, just to talk. During their drive they were both very nervous, but the drive must have gone pretty good because they kept double dating for almost a year!
When did you first know you guys were meant to be?
It took a while, after breaking up and getting back together, but they always had each other on their minds. Sara said, “I knew I could never find someone else as sincere, easy going, and that loved the outdoors as much as I do!”
How did he propose???
Jeremy proposed on Christmas Day 2012! He went with Sara to her family’s Christmas gathering and then before going to his grandparent’s home for their get together he told Sara that they needed to go get his four wheeler and he grabbed a gas can since he said the “four wheeler was out of gas.” They then drove his truck over the hills behind his parents house. He grabbed the gas can out of the back and came around to open her door. He opened the door and got down on one knee. Sara knew he was going to propose at some point, but had no idea it was going to happen then! She was so shocked and couldn’t believe it! She said she yelled “Are you serious!!!” and then “Of course!!” immediately!
They even had friends shooting off fireworks towards the end of the reception which was awesome!
