Ciera + Matthew's Nashville Wedding - Lisa Shelby Photography

Ciera and Matthew’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, at the last minute the outside ceremony had to be moved inside, but everything was still gorgeous and the couple seemed as calm as could be. Luckily the rain held off so we were able to get some outside images and even do their first look at the outside ceremony site so they got to enjoy it a bit before the rain. We even got a photo with them kissing under the umbrella when it began raining while we were shooting the bride and groom’s photos! Each and every detail of their wedding and reception was beautiful as well as the bride and groom.

Here are a few fun facts about this happy couple…

Their first date was at Arrington Vineyards.
It was awkward and perfect.

“The Office” is their favorite show.

Matthew is younger, but he’s an amazing leader.
Ciera is older, but Matthew says she’s like a little kid.

They are dedicated movie goers.

Ciera helps Matthew keep the food healthy.
Matthew helps Ciera control her shopping addiction.

Their wedding date, August 23, 2014, was exactly two years from the date they first met.

Ciera pretended her iPhone was broken so Matthew would talk to her.

Burger Up is a frequent date spot.

They have two cats, Henry and Riley.
Both Henry and Riley are afraid of Matthew.

Matthew said “I love you” first.
But Ciera came in a close second with “I love you, too.”

On April 6, 2013, Matthew recreated their first date and proposed at Arrington Vineyards.
Ciera had no idea it was coming.

Ciera and Matthew were so much fun to be around and photograph! We have loved getting to know this sweet couple! We wish them a lifetime of happiness and pray God blesses their marriage (and that Henry and Riley start liking Matthew)!!!! Congratulations Ciera and Matthew! You both and your entire wedding was gorgeous!
